Network lock is an inbuilt feature that is apparently used by an operator to prevent its subscribers from switching on to any other network/operator. It an in-built feature by the manufacturer, who signs a contract with a specific network operator. Such phones are comparatively cheaper than other phones. Being confined to a specific network can constraint an individual’s working and hamper their day to day smooth functioning, specifically in terms of making calls or using data. Many times, a person buys network lock feature, not for the phone but to unlock the phone so that it can be used with other networks. Being confined to using a particular network, not only increases your monthly cellular expenditure but also causes a lot of problems.
